Three Roads
Two roads diverge in a wood. Big deal!
This always depends on how I feel,
And today they strike me as just the same,
So I’m going to go back the way I came.
What Can You Do?
What can you do
With a clerihew
Except include the name of someone you would like to skewer,
Only now you remember fewer and fewer?
The Cat on the Radiator
I can see at a glance that she’s warmer than me.
That doesn’t seem fair, since this happens to be
my house. It’s outrageous that I can’t be at
that state of contentment enjoyed by a cat!
She stretches and yawns. Then she goes back to sleep.
She hasn’t a care, and her comfort is deep.
I shiver and sigh. How I envy her state!
I can’t go to bed yet. I just have to wait!
