On Revising the Bucket List to a More Manageable Size

I never will see Naples,
No mountain will be scaled,
I’ll never run a marathon—
That ship has long since sailed.

What’s left? Two things my mother
said I should never do.
I’m gonna have my ears pierced,
and get me a tattoo.
